What I want to be.

As a person who loves reading, I fantasize the novels, poems, blogs and academic books of different authors and writers I loved. I typically do different kind of writing that interests me and mostly, I write based on my emotions. I compose poems when I feel the butterflies in my stomach or when I feel the the broken pieces of my heart. I put entries in my blogs when I feel the need to release the monsters inside my brain and most of the time, I write formal letters and essays because it is must.

Writing has been and will always be my outlet, either be through a long entry for a blog or a short post to share. I will always love writing although I may not be good in doing it. What matters is that it completes me as a person and it is part of my life. Either be writing in metaphor, creatively, simple, formal or informal, it will always be part of my skills that I am proud to have and will enjoy doing it any time of the day.

I believe that I have to improve my formal writing. I have to be more familiar with the grammar rules. I entered this online course to improve in writing formal letters, essays and paragraphs because this is a requirement in my current career. As a law student, writing and analyzing are the most important factors to successfully finish the degree and pass the Bar examinations however, this does not refer to an ordinary writing skills, but legal writing skills. This skill will work better with greater knowledge in vocabulary and grammar which are significant in writing legal documents, such as complaint, answer, appeal brief and case decisions. Further, since writing blogs is my hobby, I want to be a better creative writer to express my thoughts and ideas and I want to be a better business writer which will help me emphasize my skills at work.

Thus, I just want to be a better writer.

You write fluently and fluidly.
Find a topic, and you'll do well.

For my own blog, I first spend time each week creating a "topic list" I do very little writing beyond the list when I do this. Later in the week I write a blog post or two, and schedule them for posting at the same time each day, no more than a single post per day. I've been fairly consistent at this for a year now, but deleted most of the first 4 months' entries because many were inane. It hurt to delete, after all, these were my writings. But I think it improved the blog as a whole. Welcome to visit and comment www.aboksu.wordpress.com
